Sodium cyanide? Considering the fact that its a deadly poison, you probably won't be able to commercially purchase it unless you work in a laboratory or university.

Sodium cyanide is a highly toxic chemical compound, also known as sodium salt of hydrocyanic acid and cyanogran. Immediate medical attention is required in the event of cyanide poisoning, as it is quickly fatal. Like the similar potassium cyanide, NaCN has a smell like bitter almonds, but not everyone can smell it.
It is a inhibitor for respiration.

I found one legal and 2 illegal uses of NaCN, and the legal use (extraction of gold from ore) is extremely hazardous and environmentally risky.
The link below was prepared by the CDC for response to use of the substance by terrorists.

Sodium Cyanide is highly dangerous and a controlled substance. You won't be able to buy it anywhere.
Moreover, why would you want it? What legal uses are there?

This is one chemical that you probably don't want to mess with.
HCN is a gas at room temperature (the liquid boils at a low room temperature) is highly toxic, as are all of its salts. HCN used to be used to execute condemned prisoners.
