Mere discussion of this somewhat sensational case hardly qualifies as "making political footballs" of the victim(s).

If a congressman does something like this, it's going to be a hot topic for a while. To suggest that it isn't is, well, foolish.

I feel bad for any violated youngsters. and its true that it is a crime, and all involved should definitely be punished. on the other hand all Bill did was get his sausage smoked by an ADULT CONSENTING FEMALE and every one from the slightly leaning to the extreme right delved into his personal life, and made it to be a crime. In my eyes he did nothing any other politician doesn't do. Foley's actions prove that to the utmost. so I ask you why not make it political.?Haven't you ever heard "we are only as good as the friends we keep"? well, he does represent the republican party so there you have it.

Who are you to judge me????

I understand, I'm not your type, too many
tattoos. Thing is, there isn't much to do
in prison except desecrate your flesh.

Granny drank strychnine. I guess you could
say I had a leg up, genetically speaking. -Rebulican Mark Foley, Florida State Prison, November 7, 2006.
