In high level singers, there is not a way to measure the best singer, since the envelope or voice footprint corresponsa to an external factor, wich is.... your personal likes.
Beyonce is backed by a stronger media campaign and advertisement parafenalia, wich include much more merchandising.
Let me explain you this, in no many words.
Take a CocaCola or Pepsi. or a beer..... sit in your favorite place. Turn off the music and close your eyes. Have a zip. Think on your most horrible loss in life. Have a second drink, think on your wost nightmare. Drink for the 3rd time. Imagine how better could be your life if you have done an important thing differently or if you had taken that chance you did not.
At his time you almost for sure, are confronted to your pure inner self. Now try to turn on your tong flavor sensors, and have a slow thin drink, and try to desassemble the taste of whaterecer you are drinking.
Maybe you will find your favorite rink tasts artificial and not so good. At this prfecise moment there is not advertisement on your brain.
The same goes with music... it transports your emotive part to pure boundaries. Music depends on your naked feelings, as real flavor.
No ashanti, no Beyonce are better if you undress the enviroment. Your brain will choose, maybe by theme, maybe by orchestration, maybe by lyrics connected to Your Deep. Maybe that voice means company or understanding for you....
but in reality no any of the too is better, as not Mozart is better than Belafonte or a Stradivarious better than an electric guitar...
