what is your broadband speed?

having the fatest internet doesn't guarantee you super fast internet, because there are several things which can prevent you from the fastest:
- you are sharing your internet line (contention ratio)
- your ISP or area is experiencing problems
- your line is far away from your exchange

more often than not it's the WEB SERVER, the web server where you are accessing the site must be fast aswell and if other ppl are on the same website that will slow your page load speed. i have 8Mb broadband BUT becomes 5Mb because of the line - so i wud expect fast page loads, but no i don't get fast page loads because i'm nt the onli person using the websites.

Internet speed is not based solely on the speed of your particular connection. It also depends on the specs of the server you are accessing, the connection they are using, the amount of traffic they are experiencing, and a multitude of other things.
