This question (statement ? ) is incorrect. The government does not have a "killed in Iraq" classification. There was even a person added to the Vietnam Memorial wall last year or the year before from injuries he got approximately 30 years ago. The military usually reports " died in the line of duty" or "died from injuries sustained while in the line of duty", both which are treated the same way.

They probably are not counted as "killed in Iraq" since this would not be true - they are, however, counted as Iraq war casualties and added to the total killed as a result of the war, which is a far more accurate description.

they might not be counted as dying in Iraq but they are counted as wounded and dying in the War in Iraq. Or more like "another casualty of the war".

sad isnt it?

Are they counted as casualties--or being wounded? The number of wounded is quite high in some estimates.

Shame on you.
Are you able to lie about your own country?
I'll bet you can't even tell the truth about your own country.
