kobe wanted to be on the cover of nba 07 the life and so far that isnt better than 2k7 but live is the best i have all 3 and live is #1 nba 07 the life #2 2k7#3 cuz 2k7 has good graphics thats the only thing good about it

Because Kobe is in desperate need of help with his image. He's trying to come off as a good guy and being nice and being over the whole Shaq vs Kobe feud. He's a complete and total fraud, real followers of bball know him for what he is. A selfish SOB thats just concerned about his image.

Kobe is on the NBA Live '07 cover, which is what he was offered. He wasn't offered to be on the NBA 2K7 cover.
