I would start looking for a job...Jesus can help, but you first have to do it yourself.

I would apply for benifits through your local DHS.....they will help you find a job and give you some cash and food stamps to get you through. Dont be ashamed as long as you are trying. Try your local Community concortium they usually have programs that will pay you to look for work also. Maybe a program through your employment office. I would definately turn to Jesus and a program that will help you too. God bless and Your not alone.....so many in the same situation. I use to be there.

Believe me others have it a lot worse than you do.
All you can really do is pray and ask GOD to help you out.
If you have 2 teenage children are they old enough to work if so then they need to get jobs.
It's kinda hard to say what I would do in a situation like this but if it was to ever happen I know I would see a way thru it.
Good Luck & God Bless!

Actually, It would probably help if you did start praying.... I want you to know that ALL of our trails and tribulations occur because we have lessons to learn from them. Everyday, millions of people pray for their miracle to "happen" and when their prayers are not answered in the way THEY wanted them to be answered we assume God didn't answer our prayers ! The truth is all of our unanswered prayers were answered in the manner in which they will best serve us in our spiritual growth...I am not a preacher..I have traveled many roads in my life and reached the depths of fear, and sorrow that I just didn't know what to do...like you now. First ,thank your God your children are healthy, that you have the $100.00 dollars in the bank and you have a last unemployment check...it's time for a change...things are going to change. You need to decide how you want them to change. If you need help finding a job connect with your local county employment center. they will have resources to assit you on your job search. If you need food for now, during this TRANSITION apply for food stamps if you need to. That system is there for times like these....you payed into the system apply for need in this temporary time of need. Check you local food bank again, somewhere down the road when you get back on your feet you can donate to the food bank, or volunteer during the holiday season. When, I have felt down I was always grateful to have my religion to fall back on. The truth is my religion has given me strength to face the unpleasant, scarey times in my life. You need to act, don't stay stuck in depression it will immobize you...and as bad as things may seem now they can always get worse. That is why it is important to count your blesssings. You have a computer..that's a blessisng. My point is do not give up !!!you are setting an example for your two children you owe it to them to pick yourself up set some goals and move into action. Even if you just start with a phone call or two asking for direction or help. Call the county, call a local church --- search, ask for help there are soooooooooo many people who will help you because most successful people have been where you are at one time or another in their own lives. A place called times of trouble. Tommorrow is Monday, let it be the first day of your new begining. Get some paper, something to write with get organized and move on. One of my favorite sayings is:" If you're in going thru Hell, keep on going!" Take good care. I hope you follow some of the advice I've offered. I know it will help but you have to move into ACTION!

Go to Social Service, they can help with benefits, also a job, or job training, can the teenagers get a job to help out? Always turn to Jesus, he will see you through, but God said, you make one step, and he will make two. I hope and pray that everything will work out for you!

Pray about it. Be a good father to your kids... try to surround the home with positive things: Play board games, backyard sports, take them fishing.. and surround them and yourself with love.

YES, turn to Jesus.. start going to church. And know that the power of prayer is absolutely amazing.

Job wise: Maybe you need to be searching for a job? and/or a better paying job?

Good luck!

Jesus is right there with you, not ever did He turn away to begin with. go to mcdonald's or burger king and get a check, while you look for other means. at wall-mart, they have good growth potential. think of your kids, at their age they're looking and learning some stuff. my prayer tonight is from my lips to God's ear. i love you. God bless us all...

Rob a judges closet, be sure and check his old shoe boxes! AM I KIDDING OR NOT. A certain judges house was robbed and for some reason a shoe box with 25,000$ in it wasn't reported. Imagine that. wonder where it came from, or from who and why!
