Knowledge of the future could make you rich, of course - e.g. gambling, stocks, etc, but you will also know the date of your death (and cause) and the same for every friend and relative.

Past, definitely. One of the great things about living is not knowing the future. Life is a journey, not just waiting for an end.
But there are a lot of things about the past I'd like to clear up.

i would rather have knowledge of the past so i dont make the same mistakes others did. i wouldnt want to no the future b/c the life we live is to determine our death so if i look to that to aviod it then whats the purpose of living? plus if i found out that no matter what i do was gonna land me in a place i dont wanna be......well lets just stick to leaving the future up to us and the higher heavenly powers. if i was meant to know, i wouldve been born just a brain.

there is no such thing as past or future, only the present here and now. the past is just the story we tell ourselves in order to explain why things have turned out the way that they have, and future is just the outcome of what you do today. therefore i would rather have the knowledge and understanding of what is actual.

Most people would not be able to handle knowing thier past and that is the reason why they are not given knowledge of it.
The future is only probabilities and possibilities. Karma/fate/our past leads us to situations but the choices we make in those decisions is always ours alone. Although there are some entities that may know our choices before we make them, they are ours alone to make and those entities are far beyond interferring in them.

knowledge of the future of course death does not matter if u have lived to the fullest plus you can avoid ur death if you know what is going to happen

imagine how boring life would be if you knew everything that was going to happen before it happened...
the past, well it would be nice to know information in the past, but that would take all the mystery out if it if you knew everything.
i would rather not be divulged everything from the past or future. limited information is generally best when it comes to most happenings.

I want to live normal life- thats why i'd rather choose history than knowing when will be my last breath and my love one's death. On a single thought of it might kill me in advance (*-*) (haha nice choices)
