Kissinger, who served in the Nixon and Ford administrations, has been telling Bush and Cheney that “in Iraq, he declared very simply, ‘Victory is the only meaningful exit strategy.’”
And , he was the principal adviser to Nixon, then why didn't we win in Vietnam? Because we couldn't and we won't in Iraq either, there was supposed to be a gradual withdrawal after the Iraqi election. Bush had no plan, it's a war he screwed up and now we are told it will go on for years.
Kissinger was the goad to Nixon's great plans, why is he advising Bush. Recently saw a couple of pictures of Kissinger doing the nasty in his nose then nibbling. It was titled, Dr. Death digging for victory..again.

If you get into the detailed history of the Vietnam War, you will find out that Kissinger was instrumental in getting the U.S. out of the Vietnam War. He also made China into our ally, who was supporting North Vietnam while Johnson was President.
Frankly, it's about time Bush talked to someone that could give sound advice to get us out of Iraq before things get real ugly.

Shows how little you know. Kissinger was in the administration that managed to get us out of that war, not into it. It's a damn good sign that Bush finally turned to someone with real brains and experience to help us get out of this mess. You've apparently been listening to that O'Reilly blow-hard (when he's not doing phone sex, that is).
You jerk-offs that think Kissinger us too old and a has-been don't have a clue what this guy is really like - on your best day you'll never have one tenth his brains or ability.

maybe, but at least president bush can gain the perspective of a policy maker that didn't achieve stated objective a few decades back.
many believe that the current president has not failed at all. citing (1) strength of economy, (2) low inflation rate, (3) low unemployment rate, (4) # of people around the world that can now vote or get an education (5) disarming of libya w/out firing a shot...on the otherhand, many cite failure thus far re (1) open borders, (2) north korea, (3) iran...but current president inhereted those disasters.

It just proves George is as clueless as a rock. Henry K should have been put in jail a long time ago for the bombing of Cambodia with the other famous Republican Dick (Richard Milhous Nixon).

Bush listens to everyone, even the winey sissy democrats.
And then he decides what is best for the country.
THAT'S WHAT A PRESIDENT IS SUPPOSED TO DO.
