In the proper environment, meaning 10 gl's per fancy, 15-20 for types like Comets, Sarrasas,Shebunkins, then within a few month's they can be 2-3 inch's easy.

For example, I bought two fantails in June, they where the size of my little finger nail, today they are pushing 3 inch's. Thats 3 month's. :) Proper nutrion is important, they are omniverouse, so fresh or frozen vegies and fruits, Cocktail or salad shrimp should be included in the diet.

Growth of goldfish is highly dependent on water quality. If you keep a goldfish in a bowl, the quality of water cannot be maintained well and the growth rates are greatly reduced. Well raised fry should reach 2 inches in about 4 months.

Not all that much--he'll fill out a little. The bigger the tank the better. He won't grow much at all, even over a long period of time, if he's in a small bowl. Ten or more gallons and you could get a proper carp in a year or two.

That's a very weird question.
