What is your opinion of the color black? Do you like it? What do you think of when you see it? I want to know because I am interested in the difference between the traditional symbolism of colors and what people actually perceive them as.

I hate to tell you but in a matter of speaking black is not a color nither is white.
Black and white are considerd "Tints and shades"
But as for Black I like it. I think black can make you look slender
I mean, people call it a color but it is not a real color!!!!!

I like the color black, it is a mysterious color, it invokes mystique in my opinion. Also, it reminds me of night, and night is my favorite time :)
When I was a child, I was always amazed at night, it was almost magic, it invoked mystery and suspense, not knowing what goes on at night, when you are a child, is cool (LOL).

I wear black quite often. I'm not a gothic person. I dress professionally, a black dress shirt with black twill pants. I think it looks more professional and some what intimidating.

black is a mysterious color.to me. open to many ways of observation . blank in a certain way but screaming wild in another. its the way each person has had in there own ways of upbringing and invironmental factors. as to how they think are react to this particular color.

it could be flattering as long as you aren't any more only wearing black. My mom has raised me to compared to black because it "seems undesirable with my pores and skin tone" and "makes me look dwindled", yet.. i do not extremely care. -.- about the black nail polish? relies upon on what else you're wearing. i'd imagine goth.. yet black is classy.
