Before get in the car, check to see which side of the car the gas tank is on. It could be on the right, left or underneath the license plate holder on some cars. If its on the left or right, pull into the gas station and into a spot where the gas pump will be on the same side of the gas tank. If its in the back, just make sure you pull up far enough for the pump to reach. Check the prices and the type of gasoline. They are all unleaded, regular unleaded gasoline costs less. When you pull up to the pump, there will be a number on the pump usually in the right hand corner or hanging above the gas pump. When you go inside the gas station, tell the cashier how much money you want to put in the gas tank and what pump number. Usually on the gas pump you will find a lever to pull up or a yellow start button to push to begin gas flow. Unscrew the gas tank cap, put the gas pump into the gas tank opening. Grasp the lever attached to the gas handle and squeeze upward. The lever is the metal piece in the middle. When the gasoline is full in the tank, the lever will make a clicking sound. If you get close to the amount of money you purchased for gas, the numbers and the gas pump will begin to slow down.

First, you safely drive to the gas station. Then, you park the car next to the gas pump. Notice what number is assigned to the pump you have parked next to. Go into the gas station, tell the clerk how much gas you would like, and on what pump, and hand the clerk the cash. Go back to your car, remove the gas cap, lift the handle of the nozzle and place it into the area under which you removed the gas cap (what's that called?) and squeeze the handle. The gas should stop flowing when you have reached the amount specified. Place nozzle back into the holder from which you took it in the first place. Tips: do not use cell phone or smoke or use lighter at gas pump, and it's always a good idea to touch your car with your hand to eliminate any static between you and the vehicle prior to pumping the gas.

It's not so stupid. Just pull the car into the gas station next to a pump, go inside and tell the attendant how much you'd like in gas, and then they'll take your money. You'll then be able to go out and pump your gas. The pump will stop automatically when you reach the amount you paid.

You just pump the gas like you would anyway, and if you're not sure how to do that just watch someone else do it.

I really cannot think that you have never watched any one pump gas. Call daddio and have him show you please! Or pull into the full service line and ask questions? Instructions are plainly printed on the gas pump Stop engine no smoking open gasoline door remove gas cap don't loose gas cap you have to reuse it to seal the filler. Walk inside say I want xx dollars of regular mid grade or premium gasoline and back outside remove the appropriate handle for grade of gas not the diesel green oily one! Place nozzel it into the filler pipe flip up the handle holder on the pump that starts the pump, to dispense fuel you must squeeze the lever on the nozzel stand to one side up wind not to get splattered. when the amount is reached on the pump tabulator release the lever and return nozzel it to the pump.

ask your dad, he should have taught you how to put gas in a car before he ever gave you the keys to his car. If you can't put gas in a car you shouldn't be driving.
