I have read this law like 10 times and I kind of understand it but it sounds wroung to me. Does it sound wrong to you? this is a Florida law.

Assuming you have listed the law correctly.
if one person is under 24 they can have sex with someone who is 16 and it is legal under this law. But if the person over 24 is married to the other person, the other person can be under 16, but only if they are married.
( but of course there could be other laws of a different degree that covers other ages)

I think its just some stupid law that some crack head made up while taking meth. My philosphy is that its ok to do whatever the hell you want, illegal or not, just as long as you dont get caught no one will find out.

A person who is 16 years old can have sex with another who is 24 years old or more. On the other hand, a person who is 24 years of age can only have sex with a minor if married to him/her.

if you are under 24 then you can go after 16 year olds or over.
Unless you are married then you can go after a 16 years old.
Otherwise I assume it is either 17 or 18 if you are older than 24

exactly whay is says....for those under the age of 24...the age of sexual consent is 16...NOT 15...and this excludes all ppl over the age of 24.
a 24 yr old will not get in trouble for having sex with someone 16 or 17.
in many states you can marry with consent of your parents.

If you are under 24, you can legally have sex with a minor over the age of 16. If you are over 24 you must be married to that minor over 16 to legally have sex with him/her.

What they're saying is that if you are UNDER 24 and you have sex with a 16 year old, it's legal. If you're over 24, it's illegal to have sex with someone under 18.

yes most states have the consetuial sex law. But to be married to the minnor they would have to have the parents consent. Thats a different law you would have to look at hope this helps
