When I was in college I was driving my mom's Buick because my Celica was in the shop for mechanical work. I wasn't used to the big bumper sticking eight inches out of the front. I went to pull into a parking spot that had cars on both sides, and that rotten bumper drug a 16-inch gash along the side of a new Honda. I left a note with my name and number, and the owner called. Turned out to be a really sweet old lady who was very concerned about how badly I must be feeling. Insurance took care of the rest.

Yes, it was awful. I had only been driving for a few months, and I was driving a big truck. I scraped the side of another car I was trying to park next to. I felt really stupid.

Once, when I was turning into a small spot, I scraped/nudged the car next to mine. Oops.

Yes, right after I got my driver's license, but it was a slow hit and so all damage was to my car and none to the other.
