I'm downloading music and making CD's for my friends in the US. I have some Barenaked ladies, Great big sea, Nickelback, etc. What else do you recommend? I want various styles.

You've got to have some Bryan Adams, what would a Canadian compilation be without the 'Groover from Vancouver'? Also some 'OOh OOh Shania' Shania Twain!!!

Try out some Sloan (try "Rest of My life") and Joel Plaskett. You gotta have Bryan Adams and Shania, like the person above said. Bedouin Soundclash is pretty good, kind of a reggae sound. Tradgically Hip makes for an interesting listen, like "blowin' high dough". The Guess Who, from the 60's had some pretty good stuff. They sang "American Woman" originally.
