I'm 37 and I am a video game addict. Or was. My tv died a few months ago and cured me of my addiction. I can replace, but I don't want to just yet. I am soo looking forward to the PS3 to cut through all the hype and really see what it has compared to everyone else. Yeah, I feel guilty wasting my life playing Grand Theft Auto all day long. Between Grand Theft Auto and Gran Turismo, I don't get to play much else. I waste enough time already. My goal is to live long enough to be stuck in a wheel chair as long as my hands still work so I can play games all day long. I can only begin to imagine what video games will be like in 5 to 10 years. Boggles my brain.

Guess what, I've been doing the same thing for years. To list up the answers and keep the track of the Q&A I'll number them up:
1) I play World of Warcraft, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red, Zuma, Astropop, Chuzzle, and many other Pokemon games
2) I'm 30 years old
3) yes, but as graphic designer I'd work on making a game in my future, you know use all that knowledge for something.
4) sometimes if I have to leave home for work and I'm playing, then instead of pangs of guilt I fell anxiety
5) somehow addicted if the storyline of the game is catchy or if you can get an item after doing some "grindwork"
My personal opinion is that if you're addicted and feeling guilty when playing, you may try start replacing games a little bit for other activities bit by bit and gradually spend some more considerable time on other things... then when the desire to play comes you may not feel guilty when playing but refreshed.

mostly scary stuff

well im 25 and i play video games almost 2 to 6 hours everyday such games like Resident Evil Silent Hill Legacy of Kane Bloodrayne Devil May Cry The Suffering Gta Jak and a little ghost game called Echo Night and yes sometimes i feel little guilty cause i be playing a game and not really talking to my girlfriend even though she on phone but she understands cause i let her try a few of my games she was doing the same thing to me and didnt even know it cause she so into game that she just forgot but now i try play my games late at night when she asleep or when she busy. almost forgot i dont know if i be playing games for rest of my life but if i dont maybe i have kids and they'll like games i be able to help them so technically i wont be playing just helping who knows what the future will hold

yep! I'm trying to quit playing so much though cause I don't want to be neglectful to my family. I used to play World of Warcraft, but it was consuming too much of my life so I quit.. I love RPGs like Final Fantasy and I'm anxiously waiting for FFXII to come out!

im 24 , play gta, sims, mortal kombat etc. i love them and yes i think i will play them for the rest of my life. i dont feel guilty unless i neglect what im suppose to be doing.

34 game freak ,zelda is my altime fav series of games,and if i ge to shoot it I gota love it spliter cell and hitman are my favorite shotist games
i dont let my games get in the way of my need t-do's
