What math courses do you need to take to get a BA

At my University it was none. I know at the University next door it was 1 class. Most Universities, at least in California, require 1 class, usually statistics, but I have known of colleges in outside states that require Calculus.

Some BA majors like Sociology require you to take Statistics even if the University doesn't require any math.

Oh, and then there is the BA in Math, but I don't think they take math classes ;-)

This can depend on the college. At some it can even be two courses (although you won't necessarily have to take any calculus courses, and you most likely will only need to take one math course). Remedial math classes (like a class in algebra because you didn't understand it in high school) don't count towards the math courses.

It really depends on your college.
If you are just talking about BA, there are a lot of science majors (e.g., physics, biochemistry, math) that are BA in my college (Berkeley).
But if you are just talking about humanities, then it is usually statistics.
