Yes,I love Christmas.
It had got a bit boring for a while since I was getting a bit older but since I had my son the fun has come back.
I love to see the joy, excitement and surprise in his eyes when he comes down the stairs on Xmas morning to find all his presents left by Santa!
How innocent when they still believe in Santa, long may it last!
Happy Christmas in advance and be a good girl otherwise you'll get a bag of ashes!!

We are broke to this year too,but I always look forward to Christmas. Its just the magic of it all and being with family I love the most, its not the gifts for me. I love being able to listen to the christmas music!

I can't wait to have an excuse to play the old tunes;
jazz hymns especially that winter one by Keith Jarrett, & crack nuts, go shopping for prezzies, open up my own, send cards, break the christmas tree & fall on the turkey again, & just binge on family... laughs, tears & fiery arguments on everything n'all.
but most of all just sitting with a full stomach doodling, googling (i mean yahoooing of course!) & listening...
ella fitzgerald, nina simone, billue holiday, nat king cole, keith jarrett, hopefully have some movies, food, friends, snow & enjoy my couch lazily listening...

"chestnuts roasting on an open fire..."

aaaaah

Traditionally, I've always loved Christmas but for various reasons I haven't enjoyed the last few - so the excitement isn't the same anymore.

But I hope it'll still be fun.

Yes and no,
Yes because on Christmas Eve we play a family game of white elephant and we have a lot of fun doing it.
No because I usually have all my Christmas shopping done by this time of the year and this year I have not been able to shop at all.

Peace.

How interesting you bring this up just now, when I have just brought all our Christmas things down from the attic so I can go through them all slowly and trim out just about half of what I used last year so I can then give it to the church for others so they can have a good Christmas, as well. - C.
