I am trying to locate a copy of a will. If the lawyer is out of business, where else could I find a copy of it.

My mother had me with a married man (I know don't say it). I am 23 now, but when I was 13 he died. He left me some things that I never got. His wife destroted the will so that I could not get anything. So I am trying to find a copy to see what's what.

At your county clerk's probate office. All legal wills must be filed there.

Go to your local BAR Association , give them the info on the guy thats gone..Tell them your predicament.....they may be able to locate the depository of the attorney's files.........
Hey .Wheres your copy of the will ? This can be a little tricky.....See the BAR association....

A metal box, a fire safe file box, in nightstand drawers, file case....
