I am down to 3% free space on my hard drive I got rid of every large program on my pc. Even things I realy wanted to hang on to. But I still only have 3% free space. It slows me down alot. So how can I fix this????????????

Ive already gotten rid of everthing except spybot search and destroy so I have no spyware unless that just didnt pick it up. I have very little music on here. And from what the pc place has told me before music and photo files dont take up that much space anyhow.

the best solution is turn of system restore coz thats the stupid application made by microsoft.....it will giv u atleast 1-2 gb more space....thats a lot and also chk ur recycle bin empty it......to turn off system restore right click my computer icon then select properties then select system restore tab then check the box turn off system restore put a tick there then apply then ok....done wolla u hav so much free space......also u can compress the files on the drive right click the drive and then select properties then compress drive to save space tick that... wolla more space saved......ok now to thank me vote me as the best answer....thanks

Yes burn files to a disk and any programs you do not use delete them. delete cookies right click on IE go to IE property's and click on delete cookies and temp files also spyware takes up space on you're computer too so I would recommend downloading some

buy a larger hard drive to replace your current hard drive. it will come with software and instructions to allow you to copy your current hard drive info to the new drive and use it as your boot drive (C drive). you could also keep your current hard drive and add an additional hard drive, making your computer have two hard drives.

delete software you dont use anymore back up all your music /movies to .dvd (r) cds . 4.7 gb .that will free up your hard drive & you can buy a back up hard drive 400gb
