So, I want to know people's opinions on the truth of things... Less vaguely, I want to know that if someone believed something deep down, within their very soul, would it be true????

Thanks, for answering in advance!;D

Have a beautiful day!;)

To feel something with a complete absence of doubt is to experience truth. Belief is irrelevant in such a blessed moment.

I can't see any correlation between how deeply one believes something and it's truth. For thousands of years people believed in many gods deeply - does that make it true? Look at the 30% of Americans who believe in various 911 conspiracies of all types. The closest I could come to believing there's anything to this would be if you believed strongly you'd win a race you might do so because of your confidence. But then you might not either.

No. Truth is not determined by what some one person believes.

For everyone who believes (deep down within their very soul) that A, there's at least one person who similarly believes not-A.

There's isn't a belief you can imagine -- however clearly false -- that is too false for someone to believe.

Delusional people sincerely believe the truth of their delusions.

Certainty is not proof.

All illusion aside, belief has little connection with reality and much of that is negative, e.g. look at the crusaders and the terrorists. The world would be better off without believers. Faith is a measurement of one's insistence on not maturing. Religions say there's no room for doubt - that's why religion is insane. Doubt saves.

To the skeptics of the world: KEEP THE DOUBT!

There is one radical truth: life (our indivudual life). What is radically true is that things exist in the universe as they exist for the observer. Things are truthful or not because they are true to us or not. So the answer would have to be yes.

There is another life here though: ours, the ones discussing this person without doubts. Our truth may be different to that person's truth. And of course, to us our truth is the only truth.

Also, truth is often seemed as something that is not in our possession, in opposition to your person without doubts. But even then, the truth that we percieve is still not in our possetion is a very personal one.

Not necessarily. Someone might be a racist from the core of their heart for example.
