def talk to your doctor about this one.
i was the same way. you CAN eat alot, but you can eat healthily.
Bradley Method had an excellent and easy way to monitor and help you choose foods wisely. You have to make sure you eat no fried/fatty foods, or at least in extreme moderation. Make sure you have enough protein. and eat lots of fruits vegetables, salads, grains, etc. Have you tried planning meals too?
i know the voracious appetite you speak of, like your stomach wants to jump through your throat! :) I ate non-stop when I was pregnant! Please drink lots of water too, that may help. I used to buy the Odwalla fruit drinks/protein shakes too and snack on those in between meals and snacks.there are different brands too. Good luck, after you have the baby IF you decide to nurse the baby, that should take alot of the weight too. do you exercise, or take walks? that might help if youre feeling guilty about the weight :) Good luck

Try this, you can eat all the veggies in the world and all the amount of fruits anytime you are hungry, they are nutritious for you and your unborn baby and plus fruits carry water in them and water is best to when you are pregnant. If you are not a fruit and veggie person, then just remember each pregnancy is different. You may not gain much with this one even though you are hungry all the time. The first and second trimester is important for sufficient weight gain. I wouldn't worry about the weight unless your doctor tells you. But mommy, you go eat, eat your little heart out. No matter how much weight you gain, you are still a BEAUTIFUL pregnant woman. Pregnant women are gorgeous. My hubby couldn't stop starring at me. LOL..
best of luck and have a healthy pregnancy and munch on...

How is your blood sugar? You might want to consider having your doc put you on a meal plan to help control your intake and weight gain. When I felt out of control in terms of eating, I usually was experiencing highs and lows in my blood sugar. Just a thought. Try not to worry too much and enjoy your pregnancy.

Maybe you should try eating small quantities of food every 3-4 hours to help curve your apetite. Small meals I mean. That way hunger might not take over you & you want to eat everything in sight.

i'm sure it will taper off. If you were like me, i used my pregger time as an excuse to enjoy whatever, whenever i wanted and enjoyed it too ! Relax and don't be too hard on yourself, enjoy while you have the excuse, you will work hard later to lose it.
:)
