I think it would be best if you go to your GYN first. Then , if everything is OK, ask your GYN for a referral to a GI specialist. He/She can perform tests to see if there is a problem. You may have a food allergy.Get checked out as soon as you can. Hope you feel better soon.

The term "gastrointestinal problems" is a term that is huge in it's description. That can mean so many different things there is no way even a gastrointerologist online could possibly answer that question. Also, anyone worth a grain of salt would tell you, if you are having gastrointestinal problems you should see a gastrointerologist and have the appropriate tests done. I have IBS and a hiatal hernia and no one could have diagnosed me on yahoo answers. Truly, get to a doctor to avoid severe problems and rule out something serious.

Gastroenterologists do.

Mothers do.

Sometimes even other doctors do!

But none of us can help you any more specifically than that unless you are more specific in your question!
