If police, FBI, even music companies with your IP address and ask your ISP provider, then they can get your exact location and other personal information pretty easily.
For normal people, it will be pretty hard to get the exact street address unless they can get your ISP provider to give them that info (lawsuit and send in their lawyer). But still probably can guess which city if it is one of those big ISP like sbc/at&t, verizon, etc since their IP name include city info.

They couldn't find the exact location like a street address or anything specific like that but could find the general area (city) you're in with various programs and Web sites.

What they said, but it's not that hard to get your ip address. Every website you go to (i'm pretty sure) gets your ip address.

Possibly, but more likely they'll just find out who your ISP is, and what country you are in. I would think they would have to hack your ISP to get your exact address.

possibly, but not likely. Its reletively easy to tell the city from it, but your house or apartment building would be nearly impossible to locate off of that information
