"Myths" (As in traditional stories from Mythology - ie - from past religions) - Persephone and Hades. LOVE the way it explains the seasons.
"Hoaxes" (As in Fallacies perpetrated by humans on other humans) - The Abominable SnowMan or Yeti (An 8 foot tall hairy giant living in the Himilayas???)
"Urban Legends"(Like Hoaxes, but with a more modern twist - story told by a friend to a friend who heard it from a friend, etc) - Snakes coming out of the toilet, or giant Alligators in the sewers.

There's even a website called circlemakers where they show how people do it. It's become an art form.

how about the horrible ones where they stick a horn on a horse or another animal and say that they have found a unicorn or another mythical creature............this is downright insensitive and inhuman (fortunately, most of this is done when the "real" animal is already dead).............. plus, it is insulting to the "real" mythical creatures

Once upon a time there was a man. He lived, and he died.
The End.
