Try refreshing the page. Or maybe your browser is outdated. Try using a different web surfer or update your current one. An outdated browser will screw up alot of pages.
I personally like Netscape's browser, version 7.0. But it's so outdated, and it screws up almost all the websites I visit. :P But I'm stubborn, so I keep using it from time to time. :D

I've had great results with american greetings.com They have free cards available as well as an optional membership.

have you tried yahoo's american greeting cards? they come in many types and you type in the message and then send it to the person. you get to preview it first before sending.
