My skin is very pale and although it is not prone to blemishes, it is very sensitive to the cleansers and moisturisers I've been using. My skin displays reactions varying in severity to many brands and types of products (redness, rash, drying) and I'm sick of it. I've tried everything but my temperamental skin hates it all!

Has anyone had this problem and what products have you found that work?

Try to wash your face with olive oil. It is a bit greasy but it really does smooth skin. Just put on oil with your fingers and wipe off with a very soft cloth.
I have tried this and my red blotches have disappeared.
A lady somewhere near 70 came in to where I work and I had to ask her what her beauty secret was since her skin was radiant. I thought she was in her mid 50's and she surprised me with her real age and with the fact that she learned from her grandma this beauty trick.
Try it for a week and see if you do not notice a difference.

A dermatologist once recommended Cetaphil to me and I like it very much. You can buy it in any drugstore.
