do you mean the computer is locked and you don't have a password to unlock it ?
if so you can disable powersave mode but the computer will have to be unlocked first!
what you need to do to stop this coming up again is right click on the desktop then select properties then click the screen saver tab at the top then you should see a box at the bottom that says power select that and select an always on power scheme then click the advanced tab at the top and take the tick out of prompt for password when computer resumes from standby and that should do the trick.

1 You can try Ctrl + Alt + Delete and see if that will unlock it, 2 You could try pressing the Esc key or 3 you can reboot.

right click on any where desktop select properties this will bring up a menu that allows you to set screensaver/wallpaper/themes and power saving just go thru all tabs until you find it.
