I have my ideas, but I'd really appreciate clarification on the issue if anyone knows anything about them.

Did you mean a "furry" or a "fury"? Sorry to have to ask but the spelling on this site makes me want to clarify.
A *furry* is usually an animal covered in fur (naturally) but it also can be a hirsute gay man (body hair).
A *fury* is another word for the Wise Ones or the Erinyes in Greco/Roman mythology. They are the personified form of vengance.

Well there's cartoon pictures of anthropomorphic people known as furries. And there's also people that enjoy wearing furry mascot-type suits and they're known as furries too. I don't know much about the latter definition however.

it's a person who identifies as an animal (furry creature) and dresses up in animal suites.

This is a squishy, I'm going to name it Squishy and it will be mine. It will be my squishy. Maybe a furry is similar to a squishy.
