push the middle button and the menu button down at the same time and it will restart, if that doesn't work, i don't know what to tell you

First you toggle the HOLD slide on top of your Nano. You press the middle button and the menu button and you HOLD it, until the little Apple logo appears.

This doesn't belong in Movies. This belongs in technology or possibly music. Anyway, it may have died. Have you tried plugging it in?
Or, it might have just been buggy. A lot of people I know with Nanos have had problems with it. Call Customer Service and ask for help if charging it doesn't work.

Complain to the oppressed Chinese slave laborer who was forced to make the thing under gun point. Ttell him his work is crappy and see how far that gets you.
If you keep buying crap made in China you can expect more of this kind of thing to happen.

hold the middle button and the menu button for about five seconds until it reboots itself..............if not working charge the damn thing.

Once my friend Gunnar dropped my ipod and it was frozen and skipping soo, i threw it on the ground agian and it works now, so try throwing it on the ground...if it doesn'w work dunno what to tell you.
