You don't have to find him. As long as you advertise it in a newspaper, by law that was one way to try to communicate to him that you were getting a divorce. That is all you need to do. Some women & men put it in a newspaper that they know their spouse will not read and that is still legal. Go forth with that divorce, if it will make you happy and free. Good luck.,

You could possibly do the divorce yourself. The court should provide you with a packet of info called "pro se", doing it yourself. However, if you have property together, or children, I suggest an attorney. You will need to publish info in a newspaper 2/3 times that you are seeking a divorce. When the legal amount of time has passed, you should be able to get the divorce, as he did not show up and you did try to notify him by making it public in the paper.

Since you cannot locate him or contact him in any way, if he has not tried to contact you, it seems that you could file for a divorce and have it granted on grounds of abandonment. It's worth checking out.

you don,t need to locate your husband to get a divorce.I do not understand these women that is always looking for a husband to get a divorce.Go to your attorney and tell him you want a divorce and do not know where your husband is at.They can run an ad in the paper and if he don,t answer it you get your divorce.I got a divorce and my husband would,t even sign ,you can get that divorce with or without your husband.You do not have to bound to s msn if you don,t want too.TRUST ME

get attorney have him file your papers with the court then he will put it in the papers for solong a time if your Ex. doesn`t respond hes gone

it must be posted in a local newspaper and when he doesn't show up for the hearing you will automatically be granted a divorce.
