try some extremely overpriced novelty maple syrup, some cheesy black bear "teddy bear" wearing a red Canadian Mountie uniform, a poster of a temperate rainforest (instead of actually going and seeing it for yourself) and maybe top it off with a piece of "genuine" aboriginal art (like a small black totem pole) but will say "Made in China" when you turn it over... I lived there for 25 years and that's all anyone from the cruiseboats seems to want... its like the Bohemia glass shops in Prague where I live now.

various art, clothing, and trinketty crap with the Vancouver logo on it... or post cards of the many attractions. Visit either Granville Island or Gastown and you can fill'yer boots with that stuff! Have fun and enjoy Vancouver!
