Now with foley and many republicans mollesting and supporting the mollestation of young children, I feel republicans should be screened and put under a lie detector test. We need to save and protect our children and family.

Foley was supposed to protect children NOT try to mollest young boys.

WANT TO KNOW THE FUNNY PART? NOT ONE REPUBLICAN HAS DENOUNCED FOLEY FOR HIS CRIMINAL ACTS! NOT ONE!

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who introduced a privileged resolution friday night to require an ethics probe, criticized Republican leaders, who she said, "have known of the egregious behavior of Congressman Mark Foley, yet were prepared to adjourn tonight without an Ethics Committee investigation."
"The investigation must determine when Mr. Foley sent the inappropriate emails, who knew of them, whether there was a pattern of inappropriate activity by Mr. Foley with pages or former pages, when the Republican leadership was notified, and what corrective action was taken once officials learned of any improper activity," she added.

This is true, and Pelosi is right to demand an ethics probe, to which John Boehner immediately agreed and the House supported unanimously. However, let's please recall the case of Gerry Studds and his sexual relationship with a 17-year-old page in 1983. This didn't involve a few e-mails and explicit instant messaging; Studds started a sexual relationship with a minor, and then announced in a press conference that people should mind their own business about his private life. The House censured Studds (he turned his back on them as the censure was read), but the Democrats endorsed Studds for five subsequent elections. The only reason he no longer serves in the House is because he retired. He didn't even lose his chair on the House Merchant Marine and Fishing Committee until 1995, when the Republicans took over and abolished the committee.

Sure. I'm naive enough to believe that Democrats never lie, and thus they never, ever have to be subjected to a lie detector test -- obviously the most reliable mechanical device for reading the human mind ever devised.

I want to know why you think you would never violate the Constitution with this.

Look at my answer to this question:

A lie detector test should be adminstered to both parties, if you feel that this will help to put men and women of integrity in office. Don't forget the demmies in year's past, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman."

They are all at it. Read about The Franklin Cover-up.

I don't think alie detector test would be passed by any politician.
How about an IQ test - most would fail that too.

First of all we live in the United States of America and you are presumed Innocent until proven guilty. Foley hasn't even been charged yet. But the way libbies rush to the aid of terrorists, NAMBLA, and "ILLEGAL ALIENS" I thought they would be rushing to Foley's side to protect him. Where is your tolerance?

No, Republicans didn't need to denounce. He resigned!!!
Clinton did much worse. And didn't resign.
Some Democrats did attack Clinton for molesting young women.
Hillary said it was okay. Maybe she's molested young women, too.
Anyway, thank you for getting people to remember Clinton's attack on females.
GOOD WORK. I had almost forgot about it.
