I write a lot.
Try listening to your favorite music, going for a walk, scribbling, or just start writing any giberish that pops in your mind. Most of all relax, nothing blocks the mental flow more than being stressed out.

Read Drawing on the Right Side of Your Brain. It teaches you how to use drawing to stimulate creative ideas.
However if you are stuck on something you are already writing that's a different problem from just not having any ideas. There is probably a question you are not answering or a problem you are not solving. Figure out what issue you are avoiding and deal with it. If you're lucky it will be something easy like How did Jules get to the train station if all the taxis were on strike. Or it might be something like why would anyone suddenly believe that he loves her enough to walk fourteen miles through the snow when he hasn't even looked at her for the last fourteen chapters and how the hell am I going to explain that book of matches he's been carrying around even though he's Amish and doesn't smoke? You'll probably be able to locate the problem fairly easily because while you are re reading your manuscript you will start to get sort of a stomach ache or you will feel annoyed or board or sleepy or you will want to go to the refrigerator and look for something to eat even though you aren't hungry. When that happens look for the unasked question and answer it.

Do some freeweights.
Water the plants in the yard.
Go for a walk.
Clear your mind while breathing slowly & deeply.
Focus only on the breath. When thoughts drift in let go of them & keep breathing like this for at least 5 minutes.
I do this every day & it helps keep my mind clear of alot of trivia.
What ever you do, leave the writing behind.
Ideas arise best in a calm, relaxed, open mind.
Good Luck!

I think some people can be productive every day, and some people have to go in spurts. Maybe you just have to recharge for a while before your next spurt. I'm an artist, and I have never been able to consistently produce every day. It takes a lot of energy to create, so don't expect too much output from yourself. If you demand a certain amount of production from yourself it becomes too much like work, and it doesn't feel like art.

Watch the news, read a newspaper, there may be something there which is happening in the world to inspire you. Or think about some interesting dreams you've had and start a science-fiction/ magic realism thing from there. I do that!

Take a break, long or short. Just make sure you have a pen & paper nearby (or the computer) in case an idea comes to you at an unexpected moment. I've always heard it's good to keep one by your bed....you're relaxed when you're sleeping and that's when an unexpected idea may come along!!

take a break from writing and do something for relaxation.........take a walk, swim, some thing active, cook your favorite meal, and try re reading what you have already written, you might get some insight on new ideas, and write them down so you will not forget them..

Take a long hot shower... my best ideas pop into my head when I am least prepared to write them down.
