I wouldnt think so because the Cards are the defending NL Central champs. Frankly in this case it doesnt matter really who the champs are because in my opinion, as much as I dislike them, the Mets are going to be the NL representative. They have too strong of a team, and the injury to Pedro will not affect them at all.

What I find pathethic is dat the Cardinals had a chance to wrap this up 2 weeks ago yet it will take them the last game of the season to clinch. If ya make the playoffs enjoy it because it will prolly be followed by a first-round exit.
