I'm actually not sure which way they'll go. Burnett, Billingsley and Tomko all pitched the other day and pitched in the same game. All three are eligable to start, along with Sele who can start, but Lowe is ready to go. Since they're playing for a shot at the Western division title, I don't think they have a choice but to go with Lowe, then have Burnett and Maddux pitch the first two games of their playoff series.

They shouldn't cuz they still have a chance to pass the padres if padres lose tomorrow and dodgers win again. It's better to verse the cards, plus they have home field advantage. If they lose tomorrow then they have to play the mighty mets. Well pedro martinez got hurt so dodgers have a lil chance if you go up against them, but i still rather verse the cardinals.

Win Division = Cardinals in the first round.
Lose Division = Mets in the first round.
