cold weather since in summer, you need to be at the beach

It's both. More people bowl in the winter. And more men bowl than women. My husband and I returned to bowling after not bowling for many years and we enjoy bowling no matter what the weather is doing. Check out your local bowling alley; there's a lot of fine folks there. It's hot here in Texas so we bowl during the summer months.

I guess it really doesn't matter, but we tend to go bowling more often in the winter...
