All the attached peripherials to my tower go off randomly , with the tower still on..?

It happens only once or twice a week sometimes twice in the same day , My monitor suddenly switches off n i m unable to use the keyboard also or the power button on my tower to switch it off, and my speakers too go off , but the tower light keeps on and hard disks r still working as i can see the red light blinking. My PC is an year old n running on XP .

Check the power cable to your P.C and also the one to your motherboard.
