Personally I don't, although it is possible to vote your own answer as best answer to other questions when it goes to the voting stage - which is odd!
In terms of voting best answers to a question, I don't if I ask a question and get responses. Usually go for the best answer in my view to the question asked. Although there are accounts where people are cheating, someone was answering all the questions "dunno, but 10 points would be nice" last night, I looked at their profile and they were getting all their best answers from the same poster, even when the answer was rubbish! Clearly a case of having two accounts and cheating.
Anyhow back to the point, I think people do, but not everyone as I certainly don't,

There could be a plot to do that. I always wonder when people have over 20% best answers. I have 8% best after answering oh so many questions so I think there may be a law of averages unless you were manipulating the system.

Yes i think some do.well I'm out as i have no friends on hear as no one wants to no an old git like me but I'm not bothered i am having fun answering questions

Actually, luckily for me, nobody I know comes on here, which is good! I just tend to pick the best answer! lol
