how do you tackle your opponent in tackle football?

i m a smaller kid at my school and i only can get somebody down if i hold onto his waist and drag or trip him

Okay. First if you're taking on someone about your size aim your shoulders for their hips using as much momentum as you can. Don't have too much weight forward because you might miss badly. Once you make contact use your legs to push out and keep your feet moving. KEEP YOUR HEAD UP. IF YOUR HEAD GOES DOWN SO WILL YOU. Wrap up and knock him down. Don't drag him down. If you're taking a big guy: Go for his knees but try not to telegraph that you're going low five yards before you get to him. Get there and just drop low and aim your shoulder pads for his knees and roll off. If you miss hopefully the roll will catch him. it's kinda like a cut block really. if you go fast enough they will fly. Which is always fun to watch.

Tackle at his knees and wrap your arms around his legs, that way he trips and falls over. Or just get a part of his uniform. Also start lifting weights to build yourself up.

I believe the preferred technique is to get lower so you make contact with their midsection and grab the back of their knees and lift slightly so they are barely lifted from the ground and you are applying backward momentum to them and if you just keep pushing and get their legs up, they should drop. If you just make solid contact on the midsection and get their knees I can't really think of a good escape for them other than to avoid the initial contact altogether.

first you need to put your head on the side that the ball carrier has the ball then u wrap up a little above his knees,then you roll really hard
