Why would you tell your wife or fiance that you didn't want her doing your laundry because you didn't want to feel like she was waiting on you hand and foot, but you have no problem with her scrubbing your toilets, or cooking all of your meals, serving them to you and cleaning up all of the mess, taking care of the children and house and finances, etc.... You get the picture. Is it possible that he would be afraid of me finding something in his pockets that he would have forgotten to take out? I mean, he has no problem with me finishing his laundry (putting it into the dryer, folding it and putting it away), but told me he doesn't want me touching his dirty clothes. Any ideas???

Maybe you accidentally washed his favorite new red shirt with his tidy whiteys and turned them all pink and then he had to wear pink underware and he dosen't want to hurt your feelings. Or maybe he is hiding something.

Your suspicions are one possibility, of course. I am a bit of a control freak and would be afraid that someone else doing my laundry might forget to check the pockets and wash something important, or maybe they would not be cautious and would shrink or otherwise damage my clothes. But it sounds like you are quite competent because of all the responsibilities you listed.

If he does not have any type of control issues, then perhaps he may be concealing something. It's a tricky situation, you will have to weigh this in the totality of his behavior. Is this normal for him or something new?

If you suspect he is a cheater, there are many good books on signs to look for. I see authors on talk shows about this all the time.

I would say don't jump the gun, but do keep a close eye out and if you are so inclined, a little snooping could give you more info. But beware, when you snoop you may not like what you find. Also if he catches you snooping - if he is guilty or not - you may create other problems or trust issues. Good luck!

I think it could be that or he could have some kind of issue with his dirty clothes because what man is that smart to remove all numbers or evidence. They are the easiest to catch. So just ask him is it a problem he has with his dirty clothes or is he hiding something. He might not want you to the streaks in his underwear so he says avoid dirty clothes all together you never know.

He is cheating on you. There is no other explanation. Did you ask him why he won't let you wash his dirty clothes but it's OK for you to dry, fold and put them away. What was his answer? Maybe you should start checking his cell phone and anything you can get your hand on. Put it sounds like you should start thinking about leaving.

? don't know unless hiding something or afraid you will go in his wallet if left in his pants. Allot of men's wallets are thir personal space. You keep a little of this or that in there. Not talking about numbers or condoms but just a little few dollars hid in there or the like so that when I stop for a beer with my friends or need to get you something it will not interfer with the rest of the spending money that we do not seem to have much of. Do you want him to look through your purse pockets? My wife don't seem to care but I still do not like going through her purse cause to me it is personal space like my wallet or my tool box. Look in my wooden box that is just old junk knives lighters rings and more odd junk but leave it alone it is my special junk. I am sure you have your personal space too.

that is a bad start to a relationship. If you suggested that he had things in the pockets that you were not supposed to find-you already know something.
