First of all I think that some people need to learn to read between the lines before they make accusations about other people talking B.S.
Second I think that if your friend's boyfriend asked your opinion he has no right to be mad... If he doesnt want to be a daddy then he never should have done the deed no matter what you are on or what he uses there is always a risk of getting pregnant. The fact that he thinks abortion is the answer is proof that your friend needs to dump him and be a single mom

It would be nice if you filled in the blanks a little more. For example "he lives in the UK." well does his girlfriend live in the UK too, or is she in another country, like the US for example. If you are to offer some bit of information it needs to fit. Another example in "He's asking in what to do." is he asking what "HE" should do or what "SHE" his girlfriend should do. If anything I think you gave bad advice (not the advice he was looking for).....what I mean by that is, whether the girl keeps the baby is not up to him, and is off the topic of "What should I do as a man". Or maybe he just really wanted someone to talk to, and didn't really want adivce, just SUPPORT. People can be like that sometimes, it seems like they want advice, but really just need a shoulder to cry on. Who knows. Also he could have felt insulted that you were implying that he wanted his GF to get an abortion.
Of Course he should support the baby and his GF. At most he is probably just frustrated with the whole situation and the friendship is not really over. But it's hard to access with missing info. Because nothing make sense from the info you have given.

He's probably ridiculously stressed right now. He may not have even wanted advice so much as an "oh, that sucks, dude". I'd apologize for making him feel bad (not for your advice, if you agree with it), and keep it to just listening here on out, if I were you. You weren't wrong, really, as long as you weren't getting preachy on him about abortion, because he really doesn't need that right now, but this is a tough time for him.

He is open to his own opinion, same as you. He should have thought about this before asking. No, he does not have a right to be mad at you, but he must not have been such a good friend if he could not accept what your opinion was. So, dont worry about it.

i think your answer to him was correct, morally and as a mom yourself. he asked you what you thought and you told him. he is just under a lot of pressure and will probably aplologise to you soon enough.

tell him what you just told us...if he cares enough about your friendship he will rethink what he has done and apologize if not...do you really need him as a friend anyway?

If he asked for your opinion and you gave him one...then he doesn't have a right to be angry.
