AAAAAAAH! I don't know what to pick....cause two of my friends and I are gonna do "You Gotta Get a Gimmick" from Gypsy...and then I might do a scene from Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolfe with this dude...And I wanna try out for this Quintet that our teacher wants us to do......ANYWAYS!

Well, I'm not sure if I should do another song from Gypsy...like Roses Turn...or if I should do Don't Rain on My Parade from Funny Girl...Or something from Dream Girls...

I just don't wanna do something that I know a lot of people are gonna do...you know?...Like last year...a lot of people did Rent...becuase the movie was coming out...and a lot of people do Chicago and stuff...Does anyone have any suggestions?

"Popular" or any song for that matter from, "Wicked." You could do, "Philosophy" from "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown." "The Scarlet Pimpernel" has a lot of good ballads..."You Are My Home" is my absolute favorite, or "When I Look at You." I guess I could help you better if I knew whether or not you wanted a ballad or something more upbeat. "Dance Ten Looks Three" from "A Chorus Line," which you might have to modify the lyrics on, but is a lot of fun; "At the Ballet" is also a really good trio from that show. If you want more ideas you can email me at SuperRix83@yahoo.com.

Good luck!

You might think this is absolutely ridiculous but Bollywood films have the coolest musical scenes in them, except most of them are duos. Im sure that you could find a solo though, if you tried. The only downside is that it would probably be in some Indian language, but you can fix that. You could ask a friend to translate it into english (though it would ruin the Indianness of it) or you could have a white screen with a translation of the words behind you. But this would be a prob too cuz it take people's attention away from you... Well you could just do in in Indian and have the people admire you for your uniqueness lol.

I would suggest something from South Pacific like Gonna Wash That Man Right out of My Hair. There are some really good songs in that movie/play.

There's a movie called; welcome to woop woop, there is a great dancing scene where a man dances on a metal platform with jumper cables attatched to his shoes, so when he dances it causes sparks to fly
you might want to add electricity or lights to a show tune

Anything from "Jesus Christ Superstar" or "Hair" would be smokin'. They are both retro enough to thrill your teacher and cool enough to impress your friends. "Break a leg kiddo"!
