Is Brady Quinn still an option or has Troy Smith made the lead?

Troy Smith is definately the front runner.

Quinn is still a long shot, but I think even Chris Leak has eclipsed him right now in terms of QB's in the running.

Depending on how well Houston does vs Miami today, Kevin Kolb could be a major contender after this week.

Ray Rice of Rutgers has 11 TD's already, but since he doesn't play for a dominant team, he probably won't get the consideration he deserves. If he has a good game vs Pitt and Louiseville, he'll be a strong contender as well.

Alot of people like Manningham, but Robert Meachum of Tennesee has better numbers so far, all around.

Quinn is still in it though, for sure, because of the level of competition ND plays.

The media says Troy Smith is but I think Brady Quinn is or should be and just because he had a few not so great games doesn't mean he should be out of the Heisman race. They think Troy Smith is the best and he didn't even play good last week.

Brady Quinn with no doubt has it in the pal of his hand. Sure some people can make an argument for Troy Smith but he has way too many athletes around him that makes him as good as he is. Who does Quinn have other than Shark? Just about nobody. And how many QB's have made a comeback like the one he just had agains Mich. St.? Look for Notre Dame to get comfortable after a couple of scares and go into the USC game eyeing for revenge....and I think theyll get it.

Brady Quinn threw away his Heisman chances with the UM and MSU games. If Troy Smith continues to win, he will win. I agree tha Mario Manningham may start to catch some eyes if he continues to put up so many yards and TD's.

WOW wait a second how can we know when Troy Smith and my boy Marrio Manningham still haven't played.

Shame on you not mentioning Super Marrio.
