You can use a spoon,under running water rub your hands on a metal spoon,while using dish soap. I thought it was a crazy idea but it works!

No. I have never noticed any smell on my hands but I guess that's because I wash them several times as I prepare food.
One use find for entire old lemons (or limes) that are past their prime (or even a good one) is to throw the whole thing down the garbage disposer when it has bad breath. The acid seems to work as mouth wash for my drain. Its not easy to clean in there!

Definitely lemons. I used to work in a restaurant and we all loved cutting the lemons in the morning after we had to cut the onions. It really does take the smell away. Then your hands will smell lemony fresh!!!

Yes and to keep brocolli in the steamer from stinking up the house and to get porcelain squeaky clean and to mix with baking soda as a substitute tooth paste.

yes, and the cutting board. Works very well. HOWEVER: it's very drying, so wash with soap & water afterwards and use a good moisturizer.
