Okay, well an iPod is like an mp3 player, but there's just some things that are different.

1. Yes, you can put your music from cds. You just pop in your cd and you transfer them to your iPod. The iPod uses a program called iTunes. iTunes, is where all of your music collection is and from that you transfer music on to your iPod.
2. To me, iPod's are awesome. I just got a new one about a week ago, the new video ipod. iPod's do freeze and stop working, but that's after a verrrry long time of use. Plus, when you buy an iPod from the store, or from an authorized reseller, you get a 1 year warranty, so if something happens to your iPod within one year of purchase, you can go to the store, and get a new one. You can also buy an extended warranty.
3. The best type of iPod on the market that is at least 20gb., is the video iPod. The video iPod has a capacity of either 30 gb., or 80 gb. depending on your choice. The video iPod also allows you to store movies, music videos, tons of music, and pictures. You can choose your ipod in two colors: black, or white.
4. Unfortunately, iPods do not have radio on them, however you can download podcasts, which are little bits and they can give you updates on music, etc.
5. iPods, in themselves are something different. For one, iPod is very reliable. The iPods, come with a one year warranty. Most mp3 players also don't have a screen. iPods have a screen with a backlight. There's many iPods to choose from like nano which is extremely small but very cute, shuffle which has no screen, and video, the only iPod that can hold videos. Overall, I think that the iPod is a great deal, and you can choose one according to your liking.

I hope this helped you. If you want to see the ipods or want more information, go on this website: www.apple.com/ipods

that should help you. take care :]]

1). You use a software called iTunes that comes with the iPod to download songs from online or from cds onto iTunes that go onto your iPod whenever you connect the iPod to the computer via Universal Serial Bus Connectivity (USB Port).
2). They are top of the line and they never stop working unless you break it or the battery goes dead. In that case you plug it in to the computer to restore battery life.
3). The best so far is the iPod Video with as much as 80GB although the Nano is more compact, and less expensive.
4). I believe the iPod Video has Sirius Satellite Radio but you have to subscribe.
5). You can download games and movies on the iPod Video.

*The games can be downloaded on anyone of them except the shuffle which doesn't have an LCD screen

Your questions have been answered but here's my opinion.

I had an iPod and it broke after I had it for about six months. I returned it and bought a CreativeLabs Zen:M. It is so much better than an iPod and I have had it for about a year now and haven't had any trouble at all. It's about the same price and I think it's a much better quality.
