I have borrowed an atlas from school, but it is obviously a bad one because I have searched through the whole book, table of contents, index, etc, and it does not list any of these on their maps.

Halifax harbor here in Halifax is one of the deepest, biggest and most attractive (even if the water itself is full of sewage!), and off the mainland, Sydney harbor in Cape Breton is almost as good. Outside of the city, towards the west side of the province is the Anapolis Valley, where you can find plantations which grow everything from apples to strawberries. The only oasis I can think of is a restaurant/bar and grill on Spring Garden Road in Halifax called the Oasis (you can go there to watch sports on a big scereen, everything from World Cup soccer to the latest Oscar de la Hoya fights)

Yes -- it's called an atlas. Why not use google and/or your local library?
For pete's sake - don't any families keep basic reference books around the house any more???
If you have looked at maps and say you still cannot find any examples, then apparently you first need to look up the definitions of these things. That way, you'll be able to identify them on a map.
In addition, did it simply not occur to you to type these terms into GOOGLE???? HELLO???
