Not really the earth is so large that there is no way that people can change the orbit by jumping at the same time. Hyroshima, and mt. saint helen didn't do anything to affect the way the world is moving.

I definitely believe so, I'm not sure if it would affect the orbit but it would be serious. Regardless of the action whether it be jump, sneeze, or cry if all the people in the world came together for one action it would be serious. I believe there is power in people, and power in numbers as well. I love this question.

I dont think so. Here's why: 1) Our collective weight is miniscule compared to the weight of the Earth. 2) Since we are scattered more or less evenly around the world, the impact of our jumping and landing would be distributed more or less equally.

But I'm certainly willing for the two of us to hop around together as an experiment!
