You have two issues. One is the scarring. The other is the acne. For scarring, look into dermabrasion and chmical peel. They are both done by a physician. For acne, ProActive works. My daughters also had great luck with regular 'ol exercise. Sweating helps keep the skin clear and it also reduces stress, which makes lots of girls break out.

Good Luck.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.

The secret is never to touch the spots

Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

Dont worry.
Dont go to a beautician.
Dont spend and mend.
Never get tempted .
Creams are only agents of money making business beggers.
Think first you are the most beautiful person in this world.
Start admiring yourself at first.
Dont compare your personality with the beauty contest toys.
Their real figure is something really ugly.
Dont worry if you are neglected by others by your appearance.
Develop peace in you.
Have simple prayers while you get up and before you sleep.
Never think of a few deficiency in your body which may disappear in course of time if you organise your mind in peaceful and spirutual activities.
God has no negligence of his creatures.
The beauty in you will come out and flourish on your whole body .
The scars will look beautiful then.
The acnes no longer appear.

You really need to see a dermatologist cause they are the only ones who can presribe cream with enough of the ingredient - glycolic acid most likely that would help you - you need prescription strength. I would not recommend dermabrasion unless your doctor does - it sounds to me like you have too many things going on and that your skin may be stressed. Switching creams too often, too much sun, not eating a balanced diet and chemical treatments or lasers seems to have left your skin very stressed out - this is most likely the problem. I am not sure if you still have acne or not but the following will help either way - I know it feels like you have tried everything but you really need to invest in a good product - not from drugstores, etc - may be more money but you are paying for better ingredients. And try to just make a quick rountine day and night - same thing all of the time - that is a must.. your skin needs to have a healthy routine all of the time - when you change things too often, you shock it which will make it act up. Try to stick to one thing for at least two months - even if you don't see results right away - just wait it out - you will :o)

Sun is just going to make it worse - use face lotions that contain SPF so you get some protection all of the time. You need to find a very simple regimen - mine only takes 3 minutes or less most of the time. You may want to try products from Kiehls.com - they sell excellent quality skincare for all problem areas/skins. Try to get oil-free products if your skin is oily which large pores would indicate that it is. You need a facewash and some type of exfoliating wash/scrub or even a mask to absorb excess oil or even out skin tone. You may or may not want an eye cream. You can get a lotion with SPF there for both day and night use and you may want to get a corrective night cream that would help with the damage/marks and would even out your skin tone. Exfoliating a few times a week is essential to get off dead skin to reveal new lively healthy looking skin and it helps get rid of dirt and tighten pores as well. A toner is put on after you wash your face and helps even skin tone as well and removes any excess dirt - also tightens pores.

Ok - so get all oil free products and I would recommend all of these :a fash wash - one that exfoliates gently if possible(the papaya one is good), a mask if you want, a toner, a lotion with SPF and possibly a richer corrective night cream.

If you can't find a good corrective night cream there you can use the one from JUVENA - it is called Juvena of Switzerland Juvenance Selection Perfect A Pure. It is amazing and will definately help your skin - Sax sells it and so does Bath and Body Works (store and .com site) It is expensive but it lasts forever and is so worth the money. However, Kiehls is less expensive and does the job well too.

If both lines are too much money, use Oil of Olay products for oily skin - these work well. And add Neutrogena Oil Controlling Astrigent which is similar to a toner - you can also find masks in the stores but the ones at the above sites are definately much better and much more what you need and are looking for.

Try to start eating better - veggies, rice, soup, turkey, grilled chicken , salads, egg whites and drinking a lot of water would help. At least eight glasses of water will help clear your skin up too. Eliminate oil - and trans fat - fast food is just not good for you or your skin. You sound very busy but if you can add exercise a few times a week it would help also. Cardio - running, walking, steps, etc..

If you don't take some kind of birth control pill, you may want to start taking one - ones like Tricyclin and maybe even Yasmin will help clear up skin cause you may be having even more problems from hormones. You may want to get your bloodwork done at your doctor to check your hormone levels. And as a plus - your periods will be lighter and less PMS symptoms as well - and they help regulate your period. The ones that are out now do not really have any side effects and NO weight gain.

The sun will make the scars much worse - it is like drying clothing with a stain on it - it really embeds it in there - so SPF is a must! Plus - you need to watch out for skin cancer.

If you do still have acne, you may want to try Proactive (not sure how it works) or Differin from your dermatologist - ask them about creams that will help fade acne scarring. I know that glycolic acid does - the face wash I use has a telephone # on it 1-877-FLAWLESS. I am not sure if you can just order when you call it or if you need a prescription but it has 10% glycolic acid and cleared any problems I had up right away. The product is called Everlasting Elegance I think.... BBW also sells Patricia Wexler MD which I have heard is good and I know they sell MURAD Acne line which carries a cream for old acne scars.

Good luck :o)
