if deep down you know you have the force to put an end to your life ( i have tried it 2 times) you are not scared to die by any ways but something within you is holding you back your loved ones but other than that nothing in your life is worth it... i always try to get into fights hoping it will put an end to my life ( and please don't give me the mumbo jumbo of religion... i am not one who believes in them)... does anyone feel the same way like their life has no meaning, that we are here just to add few inhabitants to where we come from it is not a question just a point of view feel free to answer or not and please spare me the biblical or religious emphasis because i could care less

You need to realize one thing: DEATH IS FINAL. No more second chances. No future. Why would you want to kill yourself prematurely? Sure, you're feeling sorry for yourself. Or else you wouldn't be writing this. But how do you know what's going to happen tomorrow? A chance encounter? An event? Some circumstance that might make you realize you are glad to be alive. Or maybe you'd do something for someone else that would make them glad you were alive. You're being pretty selfish actually. If you really, truly want to feel better about yourself, stop thinking only of yourself. Find some way to do some form of volunteer work. There are so many worthwhile organizations in need of people. Hospitals need volunteers to do something like cheer up the patients (who more than likely might have a very legitimate reason for feeling some self-pity). Think of how you might feel if you gave just one person the ability to laugh at their pitiful circumstances and move on with their life. A patients recovery time might just improve dramatically just because you showed you honestly cared. That can end up giving you a tremendous feeling of self-worth. Try and have a positive impact on everyone around you and reap the rewards.

We all know we can end our lives at any time. But death alone is as pointless as you can get, after all we all arrive there anyway, why rush? We only have a finite time to see what if any influence we have on our families and friends. When you commit suicide people may feel guilty and sad for a while, but as time goes on they resent that you put them in that position, and they forget about you till they hear of another suicide, and that faint resentment rises again... what an unpleasant way to be remembered. I have no idea if life has a meaning or not, I do know I would hate to find out with my last breath that it does and I screwed it up. If at that last moment, I found out that everything has a point and if I had only stayed one more year, or day, or hour, my life would have changed for the better, I would feel cheated and as if I had betrayed myself.
Besides, I want to find out how Harry Potter ends.
I always felt that people who read trilogies shouldn't commit suicide because they are curious to see how the story ends.

This world is cruel and sometimes yeah everyone wishes they could just fade away and leave it all. My best friend before they forced her to take pills was a cutter, ran away, and was in the mental hospital 3 times. She's 12. It's just when your life is so bad, it seems like its not worth living. She was abused by her father(hit, verbal) and she felt no one loved her anymore. Society these days sucks out effin loud; yes. If you are different or try and be unique, people call you weird and wont talk to you. Everyone relys on television and expect that if it happens on TV, it will happen in real life. No! I mean, I dont personally want to die, but I've had experience dealing with it and stuff.... I hope you do find meaning in your life so it wont totally be unworth-while. Good Luck--Liz

All things change. There will be good times and bad but neither is a constant. Years from now you will look back at this time in life and wonder why you even thought about suicide. Life is an adventure so try to enjoy the ride.

If you try to kill yourself you might end up being rescued but your body could be permanently damaged and then you will be worse off than before.

I think that you need to see a doctor right away. I,m sure that you have been told before that it is not normal to have these feelings.
Sure everyone has bad days were they feel whats the purpose but when you actually take that to another level then you are acting on an unhealthy mental Level.
You probably have a chemical imbalance and with the right meds. you could be happy and want to live.
I don,t want to preach to you but I,m telling you that life can get tough but if you were healthy you would be able to even laugh through the tough times and never would you think about taking your life.
Please see a doctor and give the meds. a shot.
If not for yourself then for someone else who loves you. I promise you that life can be really good for you.--Call a doctor.

Okay, here goes. I study Effortless Prosperity, which has really changed my life for the better, a thousand times over. Bijan hooks up with his guides and angels. He says we are put here on this earth to have a lot of fun and enjoyment. I can sort of relate to the funk you're in. I continue to improve after nursing brought me WAAAY down. Maybe this will help you, I'll explain it anyway. Bijan tells us to imagine a lake with reflections of trees in it. He talks about being "above the line" (out of the lake, looking into it), where only TRUTH, positive thoughts, joy, peace, love, happiness, effortless prosperity and miracles are. Then he explains below the line, which, as in reflections of the trees in water, is a TOTAL ILLUSION. In this illusion is sadness, anger, drama, hatred, lies, judgement, poverty, misery, greed. Most of us are brought up knowing mostly about below the line, because that's all our parents were brought up to know. They did their best. At this time on earth however, there are some wonderful changes taking place in our collective consciousness. Gradually a great healing is taking place. I'm really sorry you want to die, I'm sure you can have a great life and find your purpose. We can all put an end to our lives if we want, but instead maybe you'd try getting out of the darkness and into the LIGHT! It's THERE for all of us. We are POWERFUL magnificent creatures God created. By writing this email you are reaching out to people for help. Believe it or not, a lot of people care about you and want you to LIVE!! I do!! (and I don't even know you, but I CARE about you! Human beings are made like that!)

I had the same almost the same problem. I was sick and tired of my life I even tried to end it at least 5 times.I wanted my family to suffer for me. But then I thought what would be the point ? I'm not going to enjoy watching because I won't be there to see it. We were put in this world for a reason and it's our job to find out what it is so good luck.

you don't have the force to end your life . if so you would not be here now. ending your life is the easy way out from being strong and coping with the everyday stress..it is a cowards way out...people who are healthy have no reason to commit suicide . healthy in body and mind. those who choose suicide are sometimes just plain scared and cant cope. that is no reason or excuse..

Suicide is the epitomy of selfishness. You are causing the greatest pain to those who love you and are basically saying nothing matters but the way I feel. Your life will change. In a couple of years you maybe in a totally different mindset than you are now. Do you not have any faith in yourself to change your circumstances? Have you sought help from Doctors. You are obviously depressed. You need to try to find the right medication. The RX will not make you happy but give you enough strenght to help yourself. Please seek help. Your life is worth saving.
